The Interface Improvements PAK 1 is a set of 9 standard indicators and a number of interface improvements designed to make MT4 easier to use. It is the base PAK that is required to run on MT4. Future PAKs will include a number of standard indicators and analytical tools.
PAK 1 features the Favorite Symbols indicator. It allows you to change symbols quickly. Up to 35 symbols can be accessed. Each indicator in the PAK keeps track of its own settings. It also includes the ability to hide or show any indicator on the main chart as well as subwindow indicators (RSI/MACD).
Some of the other features include:
- Favorite Symbols select up to 35 assets which you can instantly load into your chart with a click of the mouse.
- The ability to hide and show main chart indicators (Moving Averages, Trendlines).
- Hide and show subwindow indicators (MACD, RSI).
- Change Chart Timeframes and Scale.
- The HOLD function allows you to position a chart at any time in the past and then switch timeframes and/or symbols without losing your place.
- Each Indicator has a LOCAL and GLOBAL Awareness Setting - this Setting allows some indicators' parameters can effect multiple charts. It also allows each indicator to share information between other charts displaying the same symbol.
- A Lock-in-Place function, which disallows any indicator from being changed or moved.
- Useful Pivot Point indicator with settings from Yearly down to Hourly, and auto-select mode.
- Round Number indicator that auto-selects the symbol's setting, it also has manual mode.
- Four PRESET buttons that hide all indicators, hide subwindow indicators, hide the main chart indicators, or cycle through various support and resistance levels.
- Change indicator parameters without opening the Indicator's dialog box.
- Built-in editor lets you reposition indicator parameters anywhere within the Control Panel.
